Hawaii

I stayed at the Kauai Beach House Hostel while I was exploring Kauai.
I stayed at the mixed dorm on the second floor. It wasn't fancy by any means, but it was cheap and the location was great (right by the ocean!).
The squad on the Kalalau trail.
I tried to backpack the Kalalau trail, unfortunately due to heavy rain, I was unable to cross the river and had to turn around. I'll be back.
A Hawaiian 'plate lunch', very delicious.
My first meal after I got landed in Maui. Sashimi by the beach.
The Goat Trail, or Kalepa Ridge Trail is an unofficial trail in Kauai. It's a must do, absolutely stunning.
Only took a couple of tries...
Hawaiian sunsets are on a whole 'nother level.
Swam with some sea turtles!
Rode a boat along the Kalepa coast, we hit some rough conditions and people all around me were throwing up. The waves were so big that people were getting literally tossed up in the air. I loved every second of it.
Another helicopter flying over the Kalepa ridge.

Imagine living in this neighborhood.. Must be nice.
Straight out of Jurassic World. It was amazing to see this from the air.
Highly recommend the 'open door' heli flight, such an visceral experience.
Met a lot of wonderful people from across the world at the Aloha Surf Hostel in Paia. They have free daily tours of the isalnd!
We hitchhiked up to the top of Haleakalā and hiked down through the cindercones of the Haleakalā Crater Trail.
Enjoying the sunset from the top of Haleakalā.
We went swimming in waterfalls on the road to Hana.
